About Laura

I'm Laura Patrick, founder of Edify Bookkeeping.

I have a background in finance and investment management, where I developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, reporting, and business fundamentals. After stepping away from my corporate career to focus on raising my family, I continued working with finances in a different capacity—serving as treasurer and bookkeeper for local nonprofits and community organizations. Today, I provide bookkeeping services to small business owners in Austin, Texas and virtually across the country.

I founded Edify Bookkeeping to provide reliable, organized bookkeeping that gives business owners confidence in their financial information and freedom to focus on what they do best. When you work with Edify you can expect attention to detail, personalized service, and a strong understanding of business financials.

I earned a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from Wake Forest University and an MBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. I am a certified QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor.
